
The Nepal Academy (Nepal Pragya Pratisthan) was founded by then
His Late Majesty King Mahendra on June 22, 1957 as Nepal Sahitya
Kala Academy. This was later renamed Nepal Rajkiya Pragyã
Pratisthan and now it is named as Nepal Pragyã Pratisthan.
Since its inception, this prestigious national academic institution
has actively committed itself to the enhancement of Nepali literature,
art and culture.
