Royal Nepal Academy publishes books,
journals and other literary magazines on a regular basic. It
also has a monthly newsletter.
BOOKS:
RNA publishes books in Nepali, English
and other native languages. They include
literary pieces, research works, reference
and source books, translations, etc. Financial
aids are also given to individual authors
to publish their original works. Up to
now RNA has published more than 650 books.
Its catalogue is available at the publications
division.
RNA
brings out the following regular journals

PRAGYÃ:
A Nepali half-yearly devoted to research
articles on various subjects. Up to now
one hundred editions of Pragyã have
been published.
KAVITA: A
poetry quarterly that publishes original
poems in Nepali as well as in other languages.
Up to now eighty-five editions of Kavita
have been published.
SAMAKALIN SAHITYA:
A quarterly devoted to contemporary writings
in prose, short story, drama, etc. Up to
now fifty-seven editions of Samakalin Sahitya
have been published.
SAYAPATRI: A
multilingual half-yearly devoted to creative
and research writings related to language,
literature and culture. of the ethnic groups
in Nepal. It publisher translations in Nepali
along with the texts in original languages.
Up to now eighteen editions of Sayapatri
have been published.
JOURNAL OF NEPALESE
LITERATURE, ART AND CULTURE: A
half-yearly English journal devoted to art,
culture and literature of Nepal. Up to now
eleven editions of the Journal have been
published.
AKRITI:
An annual publication devoted to highlighting
the art of Nepal. Up to now five editions
of Akriti have been published.
ANGAN:
An annual publication in Maithili.
THAYABHU:
An annual publication in Newari.
NEWSLETTER:
PRAGYÃ GATIVIDHI
: A bi-monthly newsletter that
informs people about the activities and
programmes of RNA. From 2005 (B.S. 2062)
onwards, it has become monthly and includes
news about national and international academic
activities.
