Royal Nepal Academy has arrived at the fifth decade of its establishment with a long trail of contributions to the fields of language, literature, art, crafts, music and culture. To commemorate such achievements of the past and to envision a still more glorious future, Royal Nepal Academy is preparing to hold a yearlong celebration of its Golden Jubilee (June 23, 2006-June 23, 2007) amidst festivals, and literary and cultural funcitons that will boost the spirit of our creative talents and encourage others to join the band.

Royal Nepal Academy will organise various programms and activities, that will also relate to the subjects/areas of each of the nine academic departments, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee in a ceremonious and festive atmosphere. National and international scholars, academicians, writers, musicians, performers, artists, and everyone interested in our activities are welcome to participate in the various programmes of its Golden Jubilee. Royal Nepal Academy hopes to make this yearlong event internationally significant in all its socio-cultural dimensions.
